The Windsor Great Park Vineyard has a 3-hectare south facing plot in Windsor Great Park, sloping down to the Great Meadow Pond. It has all the attributes for a top-class vineyard.
Vineyards were first planted in Windsor during the time of Henry II. Today under the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and there is a new three hectare vineyard within Windsor Great Park which revives an ancient tradition.
The Windsor Great Park sparkling wine was served on many Royal occasions and to visiting Heads of State. It is limited in production focusing on the quality of the wine.
