With this tasting set you can explore our core range of Chateau de Cayx's wines. This is a set of four bottles each have its unique character. They are as follow:

1. Chateau de Cayx AOP - 2016 (750 ml) Abv 13.5% - Appellation d’Origine Protégée (AOP) - This wine comes from 7 hectares of vines with an average vine age of 35 years old. A purple-coloured wine, Château de Cayx has the delicate aroma of red fruits and delivers all the intensity and fleshy character typical of Malbec. The wine has spicy notes and silky tannins on the palate. Château de Cayx’s concentrated nature is characteristic of the finest Cahors wines; it also elegant and truly a wine for keeping, up to 10 years. Gold Medal from Citadelles du Vin – 2018 & Gold Medal from Le Concours Général Agricole - Paris in 2018 .

2. La Cigaralle Chardonnay – IGP Côtes du Lot - 2017 (750 ml) Abv 13% - local wine from Cayx, La Cigaralle comes from the 4 hectares of Chardonnay planted, mostly on the limestone terraces around the château. The grapes undergo mechanical harvesting, direct pressing, cold settling, thermo-regulated fermentation in stainless steel vats and aging on the lees. This vintage reveals a complex and expressive nose, with notes of exotic fruits and white flesh fruits. Silver Medal from Le Concours Général Agricole - Paris in 2018 .

3. The Prince's Malbec - IGP Côtes du Lot - 2019 (750 ml) Abv 12.5% - Prince Red Malbec is an exceptional vintage from the grape range of His Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark. This wine comes from the first terraces of the Lot and limestone plateaus. The grapes undergo a de-stemming, followed by hot maceration of the harvest before vinification.

4. The Prince's Rosé - IGP Côtes du Lot - 2020 (750 ml) Abv 12.5% - The Rosé Prince Malbec is an exceptional vintage from the grape range of his Royal Highness Prince Henrik of Denmark. This wine comes from the first terraces of the Lot. From the clarified juice, the wine is fermented at a low temperature.
