Summary

Cuvée Majesté comes from a plot of 1.5 hectares of vines and benefit from a clay-limestone soil on a south-facing hillside. Average vine age is 35 years old, with a density of 5,000 vines/ha.

Vinification

When it is ready for harvest, the vine is manually stripped and the grapes are selected on a sorting table. A cold pre-fermentation maceration is carried out for 3-4 days, then alcoholic fermentation begins and a long maceration of more than 30 days in a light of 50 hectoliters vat. During this period, manual pigeages are carried out in order to extract all the matter contained in the grape skins and to refine the tannins./span>

This wine will finish aging and will age in new barrels for 24 months.

Tasting Notes

This cuvée reveals an intense and complex nose offering a refined marriage of black fruits, vanilla and chocolate, stimulated by menthol notes. The palate, at once full-bodied, velvety and suave, reveals a woody finish that is gradually fading in front of the fruit.

We advise you to decant the wine at least 1 hour before tasting to reveal the exceptional qualities of this wine. Cellaring for up to 15 years.
